....as my previous post said, I am looking for an 05+ GT convertible for use as a fair-weather, weekend fun car. I need the back seat for my daughter (3 yr old, still in a car seat), but I'd like to take the car to a couple of Driving Schools each summer. I know that most of the tracks/schools require a minimum 4point roll bar and harnesses to drive........

Does anyone make a 4 point cage that WON'T screw up the rear seat space for my daughter, and won't look absolutely FUGLY on the car? The light bars look nice, but they're for looks only, I realize. Anyone have any insight? This is a once or twice a year event for me, and I don't want to screw the car up because of it, ya know?

Is there a bolt-in roll bar I could just run for those weekends?

EDIT: does anyone have a Steeda Street Sport Roll bar in their 05+ with a pic? How about an Autopower bar?

I found this at the Steeda website.

Street Sport Roll Bar - Convertible - 05-09 $476.95

Steeda's Street Sport Roll bars are the perfect roll bar for the street enthusiast.

These 4-point roll bars are a bolt in design and feature a removeable horizontal harness bar. This allows you to have a harness mount for your weekend track events. For street use this bar can be removed allowing normal rear seat access for passengers.

Made of 1 3/4" steel tubing these bars provide excellent chassis stiffening and make a great addition to any Mustang. Available for coupe and convertible models.

You can look at the Steeda Site, pretty cheap too.

EDIT: Duh, just realized, I just posted the same exact roll bar you mentioned, man I'm getting old...sorry about that.

Yep, that was the best one I could find. I'm wondering what it looks like, installed, if you come across pics let me know! Thanks, Ben
