Is anyone running an explorer intake with a 3/8 spacer in an 89 or similar convertible? I believe the vert motor mounts are 1/2" lower correct? I was able to roughly measure mine with clay/tinfoil and it looks like it will fit the stock hood with insulation but it's close, would like an actual installed experience. Just trying to clear some valve covers.
