a friend has located an optional hard-top from a 94 cobra convertible that was wrecked. He's wanting to get it for his 95 convertible but I could have sworn that there was something different that you had to do in order to get it to work right (I think you had to drill some brackets or something?)

anyway, we're both at a loss as is the owner of the top but he really wants it since they're so freakin hard to find.

what do you have to do to get the things to work on a non-optioned convertible?

also, he's got a rollbar with 3rd brake light on it (like the one the guy on hotrod tv has on his black vert), will the hard top clear this bar or will he have to remove it and get another type of bar??

If my memory serves me correctly, all of the '95 convertibles were physically able to accomodate the hard top (the Cobra two-tops were made in '95, not '94, BTW). So it should work. Been a long time since I did any research on this, though...
