Is there anyone using a Urathane or Fiberglass tonneau cover on their 94-2004 convertible. The cover that came with my 2004 is about useless so I was thinking of buying one from ABC or Cervini. I called a friend of mine that had one and I don't think he was too impressed. Quiite abit of noise due to vibration I guess, So I was wondering if anyone is running these if they have come up with any ideas or solutions, or installation hints they might pass on....
Thanks,
Bob in Maine

I don't know where you can find one, dealer maybe? I belong to a mustang club and people with the later cars(01-04) are alway's asking because after they fold theirs it puts a crease in it that seems to catch air and want to fly off. I am assuming it will fit because they are all looking for one off a 99-00,which is more of a harder cover

I have the one that covers up the back seats and all...cost about 110 for it from the dealership:

not the best pics to show it...but it gives you the idea

It does not fit in the trunk. It's 2 pieces - you put one behind the front seats, the other across the top of the back seat. You can put the roof up and still get 2 people in the car confortably, unlike the Saleen 1 piece cover. That's why I bought it instead of the Saleen speedster cover. The silver speedster next to me has the real Saleen cover. Everytime he would go anywhere with the car, his brother would follow him with a pick up with a cap in case it rained so he could get the cover home.

Noisy? It's a convertible.... between the Borla catback and I added Bassani midlength headers... yea it's loud If you don't want noise, buy a coupe and drive with the windows up and the AC on....

It does make some noise but I wouldn't change anything....

Mine is a plastic version of the tonneau cover that covers my 98s back seat. I love mine, even tho it hooks by my back seat belts and the original hooks for the factory cover. Not sure where it came from, bought it on craigslist! Got lucky!
