Convertible top frame

I need to know if I can remove the complete convertible top assembly, with frame, from a 1992 Mustang LX and put it on a 1989 Mustang LX.
I know the stack height changed in 1991

yes it can be done and its a direct bolt in. you might need new rear 1/4's though. I am not sure if the newer style frame will clear the older 1/4 panels.
