I need to put a new top on my '66. Just how hard will it be to install when you are not the handiest guy in the world? OR, does anyone out there have any idea what the going rate to have it installed is?
Thanks for any and all responses

Supossedly it is really difficult to do. I got a new top for christmas and need to get it installed. Sure I did all my own bodywork, but I ain't too sure my recent experiance would prevent me from screwing up the new top during the installation. I'd probably somehow sew my hand into the top.

I replaced the top on my 65 a few years back. It really wasn't that hard. You need a staple gun and stainless steel staples. You also need to cut out a couple of wood fixtures to hold the bows in place. California Mustang sells a video for about $30 that shows you step by step how to do it.
