Convertible Top removal question?

Has anyone else noticed that girls always want
to remove their tops in their 05's???

just curious

On a serious note my rear window is coming unglued, anyone else having that problem?

If the sun is out I want to have it on me. I always drop the top. I haven't seen that one yet but I will check.

quite the contrary, whenever my fiance drives my car HE always drop the top. I kept telling him about his sunburn head, but he never listens.

That's why we bought convertibles, right? If I didn't want the wind blowing in my hair I would have got a coupe!

Glue for Top

There have been several warranty issues with the verts so far. One common one is the window coming unglued. Probably a bad heat seal out of the factory. Have seen this on other tops before. If Ford won't fix or replace it, use 3m windshield urethane. Just do a google or yahoo search for that term and you will find plenty who sell it. A local shop here who changes tops for dealers and does repairs etc...swears by this stuff. Says its like iron if applied correctly and should hold for a couple of years. Just my 2 cents.

ford replaced my top and my dealer threw in a rocker panel stripe for free
