Convertible Top Replacement!

I have the top and cables might have the pads...


My question is do i need to buy new tacking strips as well... Im looking for someone that has done the replacement before.

Ive got a list of staples and rivits i need

Also does anyone have the PDF. i cant find it anywhere...

Cheapest i can find is $500 for just labor... and in reality id rather get aggravated doing it one time then putting out $500 while i dont have a job.

Do it yourself. Why pay some $500 for something that your more than capable of doing yourself?? It really is not that hard, just takes some time and patience. I installed mine a few years ago with my dad, it took a weekend and it came out great. We both had never done a top replacement before either.

When I did mine, I did not replace the tacking strip.
