Well, for the past 2 years I have had an issue with my passenger quarter window. Today, the driver side stopped working. Let me start with the passenger issue.

Window responds when I press it down and it goes down all the way, except when I got to put it up, it takes some force from me to pull it up while I hold the button down to send the window up. Is this a weak motor or bad bushings in it?

With the driver side, it doesn't move one bit. But if I were to press the button I do see the window button pull power (idle drops slightly and if ebrake light is on dash it slightly dims too.)

IDK the first thing about windows other than trying to slam the door with the button down, so any help would be appreciated.

On the convertible, the rear window is difficult to access. The glass has to be removed.

The front window motor fails at a fairly high rate. The window regulator is not all that hard to remove. Autoparts store offer a lower cost re-man unit.

Recommend a Chilton's manual. Helps point out the location of all attachment points. Avoids broken fasteners.
