Currently I have the single pod with the WT gauge. Im getting ready to install an Oil Pressure Gauge on a dual pod...Pod is now on. Could I just tap into the wires on the water temp gauge that go to the

a. ground
b. power source
c. dimmer source

and connect a separate wire to the sending unit, or do ALL 4 wires need to be connected to separate sources and separate ground.???

Thanks
RC

I spliced the wires together like you are talking about and mine work fine.

Thanks atlblue..welcome to the forum!!! We like when others come and visit.

The hardest part when I put the WT gauge in was finding where to connect all the wires. Now that that's done, I could hook up the OP gauge in less than 1/2 hour if Im able to splice them.

Thx RC...I stop in regularly to see the newest threads and what not, especially when I had plans for this 308 but since those plans changed I don't post much here...just like to read and learn.

The hardest part of the wiring for me was routing them down the pillar and through the dash. That really sucked, but everything else was fine. Splicing them together helps ease the process, though. Which guages are you running (sorry if you typed it and I just missed it)?? I've got the lunar series and I love how they look in both the day & night.

I have the FP and Boost on the clock.
I have the WT on the A-Pillar. Im adding the Oil pressure. It took awhile in the beginning to find the a power wire and a dimmer wire. The ground was obviously easy. If I tap into those 3, I just need to route a singe wire to the oil sending unit. I already have the pod connected with the gauge in it. Just need to connect the wires.
