Converting To Mass-Air...

i was wondering if anyone knows what all i need and where i could get this, maybe in a kit or somthing? Thanx

ya it is, but................ hay i dont like to search either but as for what you need is. A computer from a 89-93 stang (could get it from a junk yard) the air meter for that as well and summit/jegs sells the wire harneses you will need for like 50 bucks. They also sell a kit for like 300 but it is for 19 pounders and you still need the harness.You could get it from the junkyard for way cheaper.

You'll also need the tubing to connect it to the TB and stock air box, unless you have some way of fitting the meter in somehow.....

You can make your own wire harness.... Just cut the wire harness from the engine, most ford engines with MAF have the same wire harness at the MAF, so you can use any one. Make sure you cut it as long as you can, and that it has the same plug, and has 4 wires. You'll also need to get 2 pins from the main computer plug, just snip 2 wires and take the pins out from the plug.

I am actually trying to get rid of a mass air kit that i got with my 89'. I am going a different way with my project and have now use for it anymore. I have the upper and lower stock intake, T-body, Mass air meter, stock injectors, complete wiring harness, air inlet tube, bracket, computer. Basically every last thing, i wanted to sell it all in one shot to get rid of everything, but i would sell it in pieces if the price is right. the price changes depending on where you are from. So regions have a higher demand and lower supply than others.

Buy the mass air kit from Summit it's a little over $500 and its real easy to install. I upgraded a 1988 and it was basically plug and go. At first I tried getting the parts from a junkyard but it was a big mess, breakdown and spend the $500 it's worth it, especially if you have any engine mods.
