Ok so there is this guy at work that i am pretty good friends with. He will sell me his 95 integra with a good suspension on it, the b18c5 motor(type R), that has cams and a few other bolt ons. It also has the japanese front end. I drove the car. Its just as fast as my car, if not faster, handles better, and is fun to drive(reving to 8600 )

The reason i want it is because im more into road racing/lapping/autoxing now. And i need a car that handles well. Another reason i want this car is because he will sell it to me for only 5000!!! I still owe 2000 on my car. So if i can sell my car for 7000 with everything its got on it(which i think i can) then no more PAYMENTS!! I would save 300 a month, thats gas/insurance/payments. It also has 45,000 less miles then my car. I cant decide what to do. I might cry watching someone else drive my car away knowing its not coming back. I might cry also knowing i own a honda!!! But i like driving it. And i think it would better for me right now at least. Until i can afford a Z06 of Ford GT

If you need to be convinced not to buy a honda and ask that here, I say the Honda is great for you, and sell the stang. No offence. Is that car not an Acura? I cannot see why you would even consider that if you love Mustangs.

if your considering the Honda, then buy it. Stangs arent for you. But keep the windshield clean because you will probably be seeing a lot of mustang tailights through it.

Yeah, but it's still a honda.

Listen, you do what you like, but you will be able to mod better in the future the stang better than the honda for less.

Are you going to school?

STOP! lets think about this for a minute a honduh over a stang no comparison. I say keep it or you will probably regret it later on. Beside when honduh break they cost mucho $$$ to fix and stang are less $$ something to think about.

ps if you buy the honduh other stang owners will point and laugh at you not with you

Look, 3 of my BEST friends have hondas, all preludes, which are the top of the line and are much faster than integs, i have a few bolt ons, they have the same, guess who wins everytime? Plus the ladies love the sound of a v8 and getting snapped back in the seat. If you wanna wait until like 6000 RPMS to get any power, then get the integ, if you want power right away, and a cheaper way to go MUCH faster, stick with the stang, Stangs forever.

LMFAO.... yeah it does!

One reason to buy a honda.... GAS PRICES... bout it. Not that they cant be made fast.. I know of one on the street that runs 11.30s.. but the guy has a ton of money in it and owns his own shop.

Don't go over to the dark side! Sounds like you've already got a good start on the stang; maybe a little more in the suspension and you'll be smokin rice! For what it's worth I'll never drive/own a HONDA!

look at it this way: A two liter bottle of soda has more displacement then that engine. 'nuff said.

there is no way that honda is faster than your car, if it is then there something terribly wrong with your car. those b18 motors are slow as balls, the only way a honda can be made fast is with one of two things a turbo or a rocket. but without that forget it. you will be seeing mustang tail lights all day not to mention alot of other cars taillights.

i can see how the integra would be better suited financially for you and all that . But man look at what you are comparing....

The integra is approaching its top potential unless you have big bucks like that guy mentioned earlier who is running 11's. But lets face it, since you are comparing the options financially, you wont have the money to make that car FAST.

Now your stang, that has not even begun to tap into its potential. Throw a cam, intake, heads into that and that integra wont be able to keep up if you start out in 2nd gear with the Stang.

Appearance wise? Come on now....no piece of rice looks as good as a Stang. Sound? lets be real, can you even hear a ricer under the roar of a v8? I would hate for people to compare my car to the sound of an angry bee or a REALLLY POWERFUL weed wacker.

In the end, keep the stang, upgrade the suspension to coil overs with road racing specs and crack into that motor. Instead of driiving that integra now you will be happy when you get your stang up and running at its full potential

how in the hell is that integra faster than your car? are you running on doughnuts??? that integra is a piece of garbage. technology is no replacement for displacement, bc technology applies to us as well.

Honda v. Stang:
I've had a few rides in a couple of S2000's both old and new (the guy bought an '04 with the 2.2L which has a "better torque curve" ). Both of them are clearly faster than my car, yet it doesn't feel like it. I do like the sound of them at 9000rpms, and its steering ratio and handling is like a dream compared to my stang. The brakes were probably at least four times better than my car... Then after the ride I got back in my car and right when I started it up, it was good to have a real v8 sound again. The low end power was nice too feel again too.

The verdict: When I'm done with my car it will definitely be faster, at least come close to the handling and braking, and will be much more fun to drive. I like and would consider a S2000 for a daily driver down the road, but it wouldn't replace the stang (and I'm also more into road racing).

It is your decision, and depending on school, and other things it may be a good deal, but...
