Coolant coming out of exhaust on rebuilt 302

I found a rebuilt block for $200 with 50 miles on it. The guy that is sellin it was told it was leaking coolant out of the exhaust because his Track Heat heads werent compatible (holes dont line up) which doesnt sound right. Anyone know what could be causing this? Bad heads or cracked block maybe? Should I avoid even trying to mess with it?

I also wanted to point out that he also changed the head gaskets once after the first install.

Does it come with heads?

No it doesnt. I have TFS Twisted Wedge heads.

So its a rebuild short block. $200 doesn't sound like a bad deal, if the block isnt cracked or anything.

Its a hell of a deal as long is it was the heads and the block is not cracked. I'm going to see it tonight. It was supposedly built by Rich Groh who races in the NMRA. Rich had told him his heads were garbage and thats why it was leaking.
