Coolant Issue..

So the top radiator hose busted on my 99 Mustang (3.8) Sunday night. Now, it loses water and starts overheating but also has really high pressure in the top hoses that doesnt release until I pop the radiator cap. Yes I bled it, from stuff I have read it sounds like a head gasket but I wanted to be sure because it doesnt have any mixed fluids and such. I found where the water is being lost it seems that the water is getting super heated then filling the radiator and running over into the overflow tank where it comes out of the hole at the top then after so long of that begins to raise the engine temp. I changed the thermostat out and still same issue.
