How close should the coolant be from the top of the reservoir? 1997 4.6l. Mine is JUST touching the base of the sensor and my light is coming on and off. How much coolant should be in the reservoir? I cannot see the fluid line through the plastic as it has yellowed over time. I do see the "add coolant line" and from eyeballing it from the top of the filler cap, it appears to be below said line. HELP and thanks.

The "Add Coolant" line on my 2K is 3/4" below where the black top joins the yellowed tank. Cold my coolant is at the "Add Coolant" line. Been that way since I last messed with it 2-3 years ago.
