Where are these things on my 98. I looked at the Haynes manuel but didn't help. Are they accessable? nothing in the way to remove? from top or do i have to lift the car(lowered)? If anyone caould give me a very, very easy route to find them i'll appreciate it. trying to change the coolent today for work tomarrow.

all i did was disconnect the lower rad hose drained it, put it back on filled it with water ran it until the thermostat opened then took off the hose again and filled it back up with coolant. no big thing just make sure you dont slide the clamp too low and cant get it back on.

There is a plug on the drivers side about half way up the block, just in front of the transmission. I'm not sure that is it's purpose in life, but it does go into the water jacket.

hmm..

Well. crawled under the car drivers side, i see a plug like to say its 5/8 or bigger, 17mm is a tad to small. right next to the exhuast manifold. Can't get the rachet in there... Is this one of them? I really need just one, im trying to put the cooolent temp sensor there too.

On my 2000 GT if you're facing the car look on the bottom left side you will see a big plastic nut , can't remember the size but it's on the bottom and very easy to access if you go from under the car , you can barely see it from the top, I just did mine last week !

Don't think it's different on the 94-98...
