Coolest Drums New PICS!!!!!!!!

I wanna see som pics of peoples drums and calipers painted, i will get pics of mine, im waiting for them to dry rightn ow, they are in the booth w/ the Calypso Green and Beige Two Tone on them YEEAAAAA I've never seen anyone go to this much trouble to make their DRUMS nice, but i figured I'd do it, i took them off sand blasted them, cleaned them, primed them, scuffed them, and shot them about 20min ago- fast dryin clear - i hope they dont get too hot n melt off but i am not really concerned - if it gets messed up whatever, ill shoot them w/ black chip coat-

Show me what ya got!!!!!

Post up Paul. I like the color combo on your car, but how do you two tone drums? I have discs but I was curious.

I only have calipers, but you wanted pics. I powder coated mine beacause I wanted them to last forever. They came out great. Really durable, and they clean up nice with WD-40.

I'd really like to see pics when you are done. I have never really seen anything but a krylon job done on drums. Post um up.

yea mostly all I ever see is red - I like the red dont get me wrong, it just wouldn't have looked good on my car, that red looks really good on BLACK cars - i had to either do black or green or beige, so i did a little bit of the three

Not sure about the colors on the drums, but the quality and attention to detail is obvious.

nice work, but I'm not sure if I would want to have my drum brakes stand out. If i did paint them, it would be black. Calipers are another story.

Not a big fan of flashy drums. They are meant to be hidden.

Yep. Hide those drums. I painted mine flat black. I dont even clean them so as to make them less obvious. Looks better then when it was rusted, but I rather have big discs in the back.

Why would you like to show off drum brakes? Its kinda embarrassing. Ford was too cheap to put discs on the back, which these cars really nead.
Yeah, my brakes look great but its a shame I smacked into something cause my car has terrible stopping power. What a shame.

some of us (me) only have enough money for pads, i cant afford to "change them over to discs" Sorry guys, but im only 19 and go to widener college, so I'm stuck w/ no money and a serious itch to do whatever i can to make my car look better, i couldnt' afford to have it painted which is why im lucky to know what i know and my father owns a body shop, so i stole the shop to do the car, but thats besides the point, brakes are the last thing on my mind, but they look alot nicer than youd think, they are not really blatantly obvious, just the pics are right up close, if u see the whole car, you can tell they are done, and it looks rather nice, i just took close ups so you could see the two tone real good - i would never be embarresed by brakes, there just brakes lol

I have always thought that painting the drums would be a stupid idea, and draw attention to stuff that you should not, until I saw this thread. You did a really good job on that, and it looks nice. I have been proven wrong.
