Cooling fan fixed

My 2.3 now has a new cooling fan control module, a new fan motor, and a new wire connector.

The local Ford Dealer got the connector repair kit. $22, but well worth it. It came with a new connector and 5-12 gage pigtails with the correct connectors on them. The module was $121, and the fan motor was $22 at Carquest. Seems overkill to have this much control for just the fan.

Installed and working. Good stuff to know if anyone else runs into this.

kickin dude. I'll have to sport for that 'mod' soon. As far as I'm concerned, "wired all to hell" is stock for my mustangs. But I really would like for mine to be running at a stable temperature.
