Engine Cooling Issue

So car runs a little hot to me. It will run in the or range m and o range on normal. On the high way it gets hotter as i drive. It wont boil over so far but gets to the N in normal almost to the green line thats before the redline. Any ideas?

The stock gauges is not known for its accuracy. You might wanna have a more accurate means of measuring temps for diagnostics.

If it only heats up while at speed, ensure the radiator deflector is present. Otherwise, the radiator simply might not be able to reject enough heat while at speed.

gasket AND permatex as well on both sides of the gasket? You got's one of them special thermostats I see. Maybe he got confused by the reverse flow H2O pump?

lmfao ... this is someone who puts mustangs together every day. for people go figure ... now there is almost zero permatex an best part is it holds temp now
