copper rtv for lower intake?

Hey guys, the title says it all.. I already use the copper RTV for the headers and turbo stuff etc and it works great for that... I was also wondering if i should use it for the lower intake since i always seem to have problems getting it to seel with gaskets.... So i would pretty much just use the copper silicone to go around the holes etc and use that as the only gasket... has anyone else done that? And if so how has it been workin for ya?

Yeah thats what i had used before and it seemed ok, i just wasn't sure if the copper would be as well, although i don't think it would be a prob ... guess it's worth a shot
