Hey I found the best cruise ever today. It will take all day, but it's more twisties than you can imagin!!! I went out with a BMW club today, had the best time in my life in a car! Yes!! better than having sex in one! I'll post a pic of the route up later tonight or tomorrow. Something to plan for next spring.

Matt

it was a blast......it was hilarious as well cuz some of the bmw guys couldnt believe that i was keepin up with them in the twisties with the stock GT suspension.

once matt posts it up you will all see that it is an awesome route to take.

we had a couple problems with rain here and there but no too bad. if we planned a drive earlier in the summer we'd be able to avoid that

I wish I was. But I don't know when the cable guy is going to show. He is supposed to be here between 1pm and 5pm. I'll probably just be shopping for more parts today. Since I can't even watch the seahawks.

Check it out if you can read it,... best cruise ever went on. And it was raining here and there so it made it really fun!

The Route was metting a South Center at 8am, Left about 9am, hit the 169 from Renten to Enumclaw, then East 410, and up to sunrise Beach. It was 15 dollars to get in the gate there, but well worth the twisties I thought. Went up, took some pics, B.S. for awhile, then headed back down and east on 410 some more. We then took 123 South to Mt. St. Helens. We stop in Packwood to fuel up and Get lunch. We went on down the 123 till we hit The other road that heads all the way up to the Summit of Helens. Let me tell ya. It takes like 45 minutes to get up that road and its all twisties! And it was raining here and there. IT WAS AWESOME! Did doughnuts in the parking lot till someone showed up. The best part was there wasn't very many cars in our way. It was like gran trismo with 22 CARS! it looked so cool. Anyways After that We had probley an average speed of 120 from the rest of the way down 123, and hwy 7 till about spanaway. Everyone broke off from there. I got home a 8:30PM.

Sounds like a lot of fun. We could always try it. Though it would require some planning for people to make it.

well, i dont exactly have a $5k GT...ive got an 04 GT but still, it was way less then most of the cars on the drive.

the only cars i couldnt keep up with in the twisties were an ///M Coupe that had a lot of suspension mods and some motors mods and a newer 3 series that was supercharged and it had a ton of suspension work dont to it and stoptech brakes up front.

there were a couple newer m3's but they didnt push it. one of them mentioned that he got up to 120 and that was the fastest he had gone in the car since owning it. i was wondering why you'd buy a car like that if you only wanted to go 120 but whatever.......there was also either a 993 or a 996 turbo porsche.

lots of great roads......we'll have to plan a drive like this early next summer or late spring so we can avoid rain.

exactly People will have to show. if there was 22 mustang that show'd it would be great. So far a good turnout has been hard.

yeah, we had 22 cars and 1 bike make it out for the event and we would have had more if the weather was better.

also, note to self: upgrade brakes before next drive.

Sorry guys, I have been in NYC, and when I got back, I got crazy sick and ended up in the emergancy room. I am totally game for some tom foolery, but only when I get off of these mind altering antibiotics.

sorry to hear you've been ill Corey, hope all is well and things are getting better. Kinda bummed the fall/winter months are near and things wont be as fun, but on the bright side this gives me time to build the GT or perhaps other options.

I was in NYC from 9/4 - 9/11. I spent most of my time working on Spring and Hudson for Muze Inc. And then on the weekend, I walked the entire stretch of Lower Manhatten. I have tons of pics.
