correct color and finish

hey guys i am a die hard chevy guy, but i do restorations for a living as well as some collision work, well i have a 67 mustang fb gt, here, 390, 4 speed, and i am wondering ig engine bay was body color or semi gloss black?? also it is getting parchment white interior and was wondering what the metal dash and oors should be for color and gloss??
please help as engine bay is ready for paint.
body color is vintage burgandy, with parchment interior. let me know

The engine bay was alway semi gloss black in classic Mustangs.

i think a engine bay painted same as the body color looks much better though

I am sure there is somebody who is a resto nut. Most people here restomod however. Try Vintage mustang forums you will see a lot more concours guys on there.

It is a semi-gloss black but just any semi-gloss black may not be correct. Maybe you can get somebody to cross referance those numbers and come up with the correct color. BTW those PPG numbers came from Bob Perkins who is supposed to be the King of Mustang concours restoration.

thanks for the info, the owner is not looking for 100% correct, just have semi gloss black, i am using black base and mat clear which should look very nice and last even better then it looks.
also for the dash board and doors, the interior is parhment white, what would the dash color be?? the same?? wimbeldon white??
and is there gloss or semi gloss on interior?? thanks alot

Krylon 1613. About as close as you will get for the engine bay.
