Correct Tb For Explorer Intake?

little confusion here... considering buying a cheap explorer upper and lower for my 90 GT. i want a TB to install with it. will a 87-93 mustang 5.0 specific 65mm tb bolt right up to the explorer intake with no modification? or do i have to use a explorer tb? i was thinking one of these requires a little custom work.

A Stang TB will fit fine.
The thing that requires mods is if you were to use the Exploder TB... The linkage would need modding.

The explorer is a 65mm as stated you have to mod the cable lever. Its easy to do. If you compare it to a stock mustang one you can see the difference.

I took off the Exploder lever arm and replaced it with the Stang part.

i appreciate the responses. will a stock gen 1 lightning TB work for what i am doing? should bolt right up to a explorer intake and still keep my linkage in factory location correct?

i believe the gen 1's are 65mm.
