Could my Accufab 80mm be whistling bc I have a 94/95 IAC on it?

I am clueless as to why. I replaced the upper/lower intake(not for that reason), and the(custom) intake tube (NICELY done job by RNH Performance.)

My car whistles at certain throttle positions....It never really bothered me though. I have a Fox IAC on mine, BTW.

Mine is always at tip in...initial gas hit all the time. Everyone around me can hear it. Sounds like old sqeaky metal or bad brakes rubbing..

Ouch, yeah I would want that fixed. Mine sounds more like the whistle from a blower. Not nearly as loud as a blower, but you get the idea.

Yep you need a 93-down IAB. The 94/95 IAC works backwards from a 93-down unit. Using a 94/95 IAB on a 93-down throttle body will result in a nasty squel sound.

I just thought I'd let you know I swapped my fox IAC for a SN95 IAC tonight for testing purposes. It didn't squeal, but it made other horrible noises. The car seemed to run a little better(smoother), but I can't stand the noises it makes so the Fox IAC is back on there.

Thanks guys. Hey what noise man? Like what? Maybe it is the same as mine? Although SGS did something to make it a little quieter but it still does it.

It's a weird noise, kind of like a low pitched hum. It almost sounds like bearing going out in the fan or alternator, but it's coming out of the intake. After looking at your pics in the dyno thread I think I mounted it the opposite way as you. I had to wire plugin on the bottom next to the valve covers.
