Well after owning my car for a year and a half, I need some new brake pads. What are some good pads out there and how much are they? I also am considering doing new rotors, maybe cross drilled and slotted, what are some good brands and how much do those go for?? I'm really a newb when it comes to brakes for my stang, its one aspect of the car i've never thought twice about...

Do not get cross drilled and slotted rotors they can crack. I would recommend just gettings some slotted rotors from powerslot. I have them and they look good and arent drilled so yeah they won't crack. As for the break pads.....Hawk pads are POS IMO. They seem to have more brake dust than any other pad I have used. I just got the bendix ceramics last time and they seem to work just as well as the Hawk pads if not better and they do have lifetime warranty so if they crap out take em back Oh yeah....paint your calipers if you keep the stock ones....it's easy and it will really make a big difference in the appearance.
