couple of questions

ok fellas,

i have posted a few questions before but this one is kinda odd to me..........i have a converted 4cyl with a bone stock 5.0/5 speed in it. well i finally got it running, but im running into an issue with the mass air.

basically when the car is cold it wants to what feels like loading up. mat the gas and it bogs real bad you let off it picks up. its so bad i cant even pull out in traffic. once it warms up its alot better but still runs pretty crappy

ok so i unplugg the mass air and other than the idle jumping it runs like a bat out of helll but when i get above 4200 or so it kinda stumbles.

im assuming the meter is bad, going to try to find a new meter for a set of 24's i;ve got that are not installed yet. just wondering if any one else has encountered this before

You said the 5.0 was stock, but then you mentioned 24lb injectors.

Is the MAF calibrated for the 24s?

Also, you will want to pull the codes from the computer any time the car starts acting funny. The codes will tell you alot, and give you a good direction to go in.

the 24's have yet to be installed, they are sitting in the garage........... the car pulls no codes is the only problem, i had 2 last time one for the mass air and one for egr. i replace the egr vlave cleared the codes and non are present anymore but the problem still exists

IS there a Map/Bap sensor hooked up? That's kind of what I'm thinking. Its impossible to really know....pure speculation on my part.

What kind of shape are the o2's in?
