Couple of stange questions about my mustang order.

[Simple.]

I finally got serialized, got my build date, and the dealership sent me a new copy of my dora. It now says im a priority *01. I sent numerous complaints to ford, and they finally called back to see if I still wanted it so they could push my order through. does anybody else have a priorty 01?

another question for the GT owners? What is your 8th digit in the vin? after the body type.

While searching on the www.fleet.ford.com website, I entered my vin into the vin decoder and it came up as 2005 Mustang GT, body type T82, Under the Engine category, it said "H"... 4 liters 6 cylinders. anyone with a GT have a H as the 8th digit? thats some strange stuff, and I hope its a flaw in their website.

Mine is an "H" as well, don't worry, you'll get the V-8. It's probably a typo on the site. Since it's the 4.6L V-8

Darn, and I was hoping the VIN would say v6, and the car was a V8... the insurance company would love it! haha.

I just noticed some different stuff from my first DORA, and this most Recent. besides the priority being 01 on the new one, at the top of my old DORA it says:

NEW ORDER **DEALER SUBMITTED** .... priority 10

on the most recent dora.. 5 complaints later:

ALTER ORDER **COMPANY SUBMITTED** ..... *priority 01

Yeah, mine says the same thing, using Ford's web site 4 Liter, V6? Beleive me, I have a V8 and 'test it' all the time.

its is my understanding that you only get a priority under a 10 if it is a dealer request. I think it means they need this unit pronto...not to get your hopes up. Well good luck i know how you feel i waited 5 months and 10 days to get mine.
