Couple questions about pullin motor

Alright i have everything removed except for starter and alternator.(says to remove these in manual) I am now taking the the bolts that hold the engine and tranny together. drivers side top bolt is hard to get at and loosen because of the smog hose. Should i remove the smog hose?? is it hard? or is there any other way to take that bolt out? Does anyone know how many bolts hold the tranny to the engine?? And any other engine removal tips or info is appreciated.

I get around it with a universal socket and a long extention. Oh and and impact too.

should be 6 bolts holding tranny to engine.(bellhousing bolts)

Just pull the motor and tranny together. I've done both ways and i think together is easier
