Can someone shed some light on the courtesy light switch (the plunger in the door jam) situation with my 83? There were aftermarket switches on mine and I took one off but it looks as though the hole may have been altered, not sure. Also, I'm not sure how an original would be installed. The shaft looks smaller around than the actual hole and I also see a rubber boot that evidently is needed? Here is a pic of the courtesy light hole...does it look normal? Where do I go from here. Oh boy...
