I have my first shot of Pfizer scheduled for mon.

I’m actually one of the last in my peer group but most have reported a sore arm and a little achey on day 2 and that was it. My wife got the J&J and slept for a day after it.

If you do not have anything besides a sore arm the day after the shot, are you going to get to sleep in anyway? ;-)

I work in the I.M.C. unit and we got the shots first, there is no virus in the shot,so all that is felt is arm pain at injection site.People tend to come up with symtoms, but none of our hospital staff got more than a pain in the arm.

You're obviously not very good at your job. The vaccines work by mimicking the virus. The goal is to get your immune system to recognize these antigens so that it can fight them faster and more efficiently. When the body is introduced to a foreign agent, it will attack, hence the side effects. So yes, the actual virus isn't introduced, but the mRNA introduced into the body is still going to cause an immune response.

I got the one shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Day one I felt fine got thru work ok. 12hrs in midnight of the shot I woke up with the chills like it was 30 below in the house. Got no sleep, still went to work (should not have it sucked). Day three was a headache and overall crappy feeling. Lingered for a few days but now I'm back to normal.

That was the same reaction my wife got to the J&J vax. Felt like crap for about 24 hours and then that was it. One coworker got the J&J as well and had similar symptoms. I had 5 other coworkers get the vaccine this past week as well. 4 got Pfizer, and 1 got J&J. All felt nothing other than a sore arm.

BTW, very early in the thread I responded that my sis had a bad reaction to the vaccine. This actually ended up being completely unrelated and a different medical issue completely (Everything is fine now). It just happened to be a coincidence that it started right after the vaccine. I went back and edited it out of my post because I don't want to add to the fear and misinformation campaign.

Yes I'm good ,very good at my job, you on the other hand are befuddled, and probably feel cramps every 28 days. The # of covid patients I care for has gone down by 90% , so something is going right .

Moderna shot 1 and 2 affected each of my personalities differently. We're okay now, thanks for asking.

I had no issues with the first Pfizer. The second shot had me tired and achy the next day. I could have worked, but I'm glad that I didn't.

My 5G reception is f-ing fantastic now!

My wife and I got our 1st shot of Pfizer 2 weeks ago. My wife slept for 12hrs, I had no symptoms, other than a sore arm the next day. Going for shot #2 this weekend, we'll see how that goes. I have never got the flu vaccine, I rarely get sick, haven't even had a cold in like 6 years, so I was apprehensive to get the vaccine. But reading about all the possible effects of covid-19, both short & long term, I decided it simply wasn't worth the risk to not get vaccinated.

Lol.. I'm walking distance from one of the best Cuban restaurants in the area, I can't cook so I always have a backup plan. Also, I was busy staying hydrated. I read that's really important, so I drank a few IPAs

Alright, I got pfizer shot #2 a couple of hours ago. Side effect 1: intense hunger. I rarely eat fast food, but I tore up some Wendy's. Side effect 2: slight irritation. I just washed & waxed my car last night, it's all dusty now, had to drive through a park with a dirt road at the exit..

Other than that, I feel the superhuman zombie strength coming on. Ah, yes.
