I am planning on installing a 427ci engine in the '95 later in the year. For those who already have an EFI, 351W based engine: Specifically, what cowl hoods fit without clearance issues? What intake do you have on the engine? Thanks.
I have the Cobra R SVO hood, Edelbrock Victor 5.8 intake, and stock replacement Energy Suspension motor mounts so it should be at stock height. I had to cut a piece out of the rear underside of the hood for the intake to clear. You can see it in this pic, http://www.mustangaddiction.com/images/latest/100_0740.JPG
Thanks for the responses! I currently have a 2.5" cobra R hood, which is cracked in several places. Once it goes in the trash, I think I will go with the RR hood.
