i just remember Dave saying something about the rustoleum oxidizing quickly, i know that the engine enamel clear ddry hard just like automotive clear and wouldnt look much worse than plain old rustoleum, just make sure you spray that **** thick
totally not trying to bust your balls... but this is the most time consuming way to paint ANYTHING ever. So many coats and sanding steps in between. You can pick up an hvlp and 50 bux from your local paint store can net you a quart of paint, hardner and reducer.. why even try this? Again not trying to bust balls.. just a lot more work and mediocre results. If time=money you have truly spent alot of money on this.
imo, hes right, with all the work and money spent on this you could have picked up some paint from the auto paint store for cheap and have gotten a really nice job, i spent 20 bucks on single stage paint with hardener, painted the hood in the garage and came out great, with really good reflection
