I am thinking about getting a 2.5" or 3" cowl induction hood for my 92 LX. I am looking for a hood that extends over the black grill that vents the engine right in front of the windshield (if you know what I mean). I do not want the kind that has a 90 degree drop at the back of the hood like this one: http://www.americansportscardesigns.com/images/m-103.jpg

I cant find any pictures of what I am looking for besides on Chevys. But if my description helps and you know of any could you let me know? Thanks

i think they only make that in 5", and also keep in mind that if you have it extend to the windshield you cant use the hood hinges anylonger and the hood has to be pinned on the front and the back side

I've never seen anything smaller than a 5" hood with an extended cowl. I have a pic in my sig of a 5.5" cervinis extended cowl on one of my cars.

cant you also not run windshield wipers with one of those hoods. That would make your car not street legal in some states.

My experience with Cirvini has been so good both in hood quality and service after sales that I would go with them everytime.
