cracked head or cracked block?

94 gt is still overheating with ac on. Quick backgbround-waterpump, thermostat, radiator all replaced, fan fixed with new ccrm. Car does not smoke, no coolant in oil, possibly oil in coolant. The coolant was brown when I bought the car but after a flush it is still good and green. New tfs heads with new gaskets. Block has been rebuilt according the the sellers receipts.

Ok I have exhaust gas in my coolant. Thats the only thing I have ever been able to find. If that and overheating are the only symptoms would it be bad head/gasket or bad block?

Also I have been driving it this was for near 3 years so it's not something that wants to just break entirely but figure I should try to fix it.

Car runs somewhat cool at night with ac on when its 80 outside but during the day with ac on its a no go.

I had exhaust in my coolant on my V6 twice; both times it was the head gasket. The only way you'll know for sure is to peel off the heads and take a look at the gaskets.

Very unlikely it's a block. The blocks just don't crack like that, usually they crack in the webbing. Also, the TFS heads have a .750" deck, so they are unlikely to be cracked either. Probably just a blown head gasket.
