I have installed 3 new sets of hinge pins and bushings now, and the little brass bushings keep cracking on both the top and bottom hinges. The door hinges themselves are brand new, so the hole is nice and smooth. Door-side hinge holes are fine. There's no need for the oversize bushings. I've gone through 3 full sets of these things - some of them haven't even lasted a day. These are the sets from LMR. Is there a quality control issue here? Or am I missing something? I have subframe connectors. The door only sags 3/4 inch. It closes and lines up perfectly when the bushings are good. As soon as they crack, it's sag-city again. Kind of losing my mind here. Thanks in advance.

The door-side holes were oblong and a little jagged, but they've been replaced.

Something is wrong with your hinges. Are the hinges aligned correctly at the a pillar area ? Did you lubricate them with grease ?

If they aren't it would put extra stress on the bushings.

Quality control with stuff made in China and South America is out the window.

Pics would help us figure out whats wrong. I used a set from my local Advance Auto and they have been holding up well.
