Here is the link to one of the rims i was looking at, but there are a few on the jegs site made by cragar that are cheap and nice looking.....

K, so i am in the market for some new rims, and i have been looking at some of the cragars that are relatively cheap, i saw the 15by10 size and i was wondering if that would fit in the stock wheelwell of a 1966 coupe. I would be putting some type of street slick or something to get better traction, can someone let me know if that would fit, or if they have any other suggestions to what rim and tire combo to get that is relatively cheap, im on a tight budget.......thanks guys

Matt

I am by no means a expert on mustangs but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that 15x10 wheels won't fit on a "stock" 66 Mustang setup. I own a 66 mustang coupe that I get to wrench on here and there and I have 17x8 Edelbrock 454s on the back of my car. It's tight back there even with proper backspacing. I have 17x8s on the front as well and they are extremely tight.

Dodgestang's wheel chart is pretty dead on with wheel fitment, I'd check that out before purchasing wheels... I wish I did.

I'd venture to say you'd have to do some custom work with springs and axles to fit the 15x10s.

How much meat do you want? I run a 255 on a 17x8 with just a rolled fender lip. 10 inch rims don't really fit on a 65-6
