crankshaft machining

how much does it cost to get a crankshaft turned? is .020 under too much to go? also when you get it machined do you have to go .020 under on both connecting rod and main journals? if so how much does is cost for a line bore? thanks

I had my crank turned .020 on both rods and mains.. although you do not need to turn both just as much. You could have .010 under mains and .020 under rods etc. This cost me $134, but if your in the US then i'm sure it'd be cheaper. Line bore I believe is ~$100 here. Napa prices..
