CRAPPPP, How can i fix this? Pipe Broke Off In Oil Sender.

well. when i changed my motor mounts. the autometer copper coil sender tube broke off, and i couldnt get it to fit again without it spitting oil like crazy.

so i ordered a new line for it. got it today. go to install, and this is what happens.

How the hell can i get this out and fix it?

holy***** dude.. thats bad... maybe find a flathead screwdriver big enough to wedge in there, hammer it in, and hope and pray.. use a lot of penetraing lube.. and change the oil. or dig a flat head into one side and try to chisel it out by turning it counter clockwise, you kno? good luck man i wish i could be more helpful.

now that i think of it i did the same thing to my fuel pressure gauge on my schrader valve... but i simply swapped the hardline with an extra that a buddyt had so dont think your the only one to accomplish this lol

Thats 1/8 or 1/4 NPT. Get some extractors. The type with the reverse threads work the best in my opinion.

Pipe extractor is the only method that I would use. If you attempt other methods first, you run the risk of boogering it up so bad that the extractor can't get a bite on it.

I bought a screw extractor set at home depot. hammered it in a bit. and used a T handle to turn it.

the cool thing was the nice reverse threading on the extractor, when i turned it. it kept threading itself into the pipe.. until it grabbed hard enough to turn the pipe.

the only problem is. once the pipe is out, and stuck on the extractor. how do you get that off. oh well

woohoo its out!
