Crate Motor-Stock 5.0 w/ B cam?

There's a guy in my area who has an '85 GT. He doesn't seem to know much about it though. He said the engine was a crate motor from Ford w/ a B-cam he believes and the previous owner had it installed. Did Ford ever make a crate motor that was a stock 5.0, but with a different cam? I had thought it might be a GT40 Crate, but he's pretty sure it's a stock 5.0. The motor was installed a few years ago and it's carb'd, if that helps any. If anybody knows about this engine, what type of power would it put out? I would think it'd be 225hp, maybe a little more with the cam though.

Uhhh..... Yeah sounds like the gt 40 crate, but it has gt40 heads b cam and should make more than 225 depending on the tranny. Are u trying to buy it or what?
