Cross drilled/Slotted rotors

Hey my fellow hp. I know one of you guys have cross drilled and slotted rotors. My question is I'm planning on getting them but what about when you have to turn them. Do I have to get a new rotors everytime I turn them?
Thanks for helping me out in the past.
