Cruise Control Deactivation Switch

Trying to find the location of the cruise control deactivation switch on a 97 Cobra. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

It's not the "off" button below the "on" button on the steering wheel?

The one on the steering wheel is the only one I have ever heard of.

The deactivation switch is at the brake pedal just like the brake switch.

I, for one, am embarassed....

But is there really two switches under there or is it just sensing the brake pedal switch. So technically, we were correct

Um, then why was the f'n question asked---every car with cruise control has an "off" switch on the brake pedal and if so equipped, the clutch pedal.

I guess the question was so rudimentary, we read into too much.

No reason to be embarassed. That's what these forums are here for, to learn stuff we don't know . There are two switches. The deactivator switch is there as a back up in case the actual brake switch fails.
