Covid cruisin I guess you could say. Roads are way less crowded and much more enjoyable for driving. Picking up some pizzas and heading home.

Mine too!!

And I’ve been busy trying to help manage one of those “essential” big box stores that have no toilet paper, so havnt had much time anyway. I have enjoyed the very little traffic on my drives to work though.

Eh, things could be worse. My parents were held up in a condo in Ft Lauderdale for the last 2 weeks under a "stay at home order." After multiple cancelled flights over the last 2 weeks, my mom was working out the final details to get back home to Stavanger on the phone. It ended up being 7 airports over 2 days. My dad had been sick all day, and finally ended up being in agony at 9pm. Called in a solid from a friend who owed me one last night, and he drove out there to get my dad to the hospital. He had emergency surgery to remove his appendix last night. Now I am trying to find a place for them to hold up in Covid hotspot while my dad recovers for a few weeks so he can travel again. I haven't slept in 2 days now. Just to put things in perspective.

Wish you all the best man. Hope Dad’s ok!

Really sucks what’s going on right now! Yet from what I see, way too many still think it’s business as usual!

Not a good time for emergency surgery amid this pandemic. Hope he is doing well in recovery man.

I cant imagine someone trying to travel in that condition especially from Florida to Stavanger

Yeah revhead347, that does suck but hoping for a speedy recovery!

My car is also out of commission as well. Not a good time for most folks and some cars after all.

He's going to be able to go back next week. It's the damn flights man. Everything is cancelled, so a one day trip turns into a two day trip and a bunch of money. Broward is over run with Covid as well. I really didn't want to go down there to help. So far I haven't had to work for over a week. Just did grocery shopping, and Walmart is packed. I need one of those 6ft sticks.
