Has anyone used this product before? I found this product in the latest MM&FF magazine and it looks pretty interesting. What are your thoughts? http://www.designengineering.com/products.asp?m=sc&cid=1

I hear they are crap. Some WRX guy used it on his intercooler and it didn't do jack for him. Besides... They are pricey. Might as well get nitrous.

The concept is sound and it is much safer than nitrous, BUT it does not promise nearly the same gains. Nitrous has soo much more bang for the buck. I think this system is really designed for cars with blowers. You see, you can pump a little nitrous into a blown car just to drop the intake temp...that's idea of this system too.

Personally, I think you could see a some hp out of it since it will chill both the intake air and the fuel in the fuel line.

BTW, anyone know where you can get a good fuel cooler at ? I might be the test dummy and try it out.

as far as being much safer than nitrous please explain, install your nitrous correctly, make sure your equipment is always in good shape and you are as safe as can be with n2o

I think the main interest in this, at least for me, is because you can use this stuff and still be considered "n/a". However, nitrous would give wayyy more power than this kit ever could.

it would probably be more cost effective to route your a/c lines around the intake.

i wonder how long before we see liquid filled intakes...such as a casing with hollow walls filled with the new ice-free cold koolaid.
