does any one know the cumbustion chamber sizes of the to following heads
d8oe,and e7te. i belive the d8oe have 69cc chambers and the e7te have
64cc chambers my freind in california gave me a set of fully ported and polised heads but the problem is he accedenttly gave my 2 differnt heads
but i called him and he said the heads were the same except for the holes
where the smog hups are on the exaust ports any info would help so id dont
waste my money getting the valve seats cut for bigger valves

I believe your info is completely off. Also, it would help if you could type in specifics a little better. It really aids in us giving you a more accurate response. Actually graduating high school might have helped you here.

D8OE heads would be from a '78 351 while the E7TE heads are the typical '87+ 5.0L HO heads.

I've never looked at the D8 heads but I'd be really surprised if the port shape/size was really as close as what you're describing. You're correct about the chamber size though, the D8's should measure ~69cc factory while the E7's are closer to 62cc.
