That’s a fact. Made me almost build a big block just to fill it up.

The only thing I didn't care for when installing the MII suspension in my old coupe was the fact that the UCA hold down bolts are prone to slippage under heavy cornering(a lot of people dont paint that area because of that). I never did get around to fabricating some type of additional hold down for it....its actually what made me pass on a MII front end this time around though....kits that don't have that problem(like the Superide) just pushed the pro/cons out of balance....well that and I wanted to make the 3.7 fit between factory shock towers just to say I did.

Yeah, I hear You on the slippage part under hard cornering. But I don't plan on taking this on road courses. Nice relaxing drives on curvy roads enjoying the scenery. Straight line is another matter entirely. Lol

After some time I finally have a quality pair of headers that are built correctly. Here is how headers are supposed to look under a mustang when they are built correctly. They follow the lines of the bottom primaries. The exhaust has roughly 3/8” of clearance from the transmission crossmember.

Drivers side was a tight fit so the steering shaft does go through the 7/8” primaries.

Custom made by a local fabricator. Mullins Fabrication in Maryland. Man does some amazing fabrication work. If anyone locals want quality headers built or need any fabrication work done send me a PM. I will let you know In advance he has had people waiting months to get in. Small shop who takes tons of pride in his work.

Nice looking car! And yes the headers do look good. I like the aluminum pieces you have for holding the spark plug wires. That really cleans it up. Where did you get those?

They came from summit a few years ago. Had them sitting around. I do Agree that they help bring the colors together on the motor.
