Custom Door Pods

I'm actually working on a pair for my 92 now.

That was an interesting how-to, with some unique techniques.

I'm doing mine in fiberglass over an mdf base, and it will replace the stock grill and map pocket. Once the fiberglass is strong enough, I'm going to remove the mdf to reduce the weight. I will cover the entire piece in vinyl and dye to match the door.

I'll try to post some pics as this project moves along. Cold weather and a busy schedule have me stuck at about the halfway point.
