Does anyone have any ideas or pics of a custom or home made hood scoop for a 65-66? I wanna make or buy something for my 66 but im tired of the same old cowl hoods ect. I thought about a thunderbolt tear drop but didnt really like the look on the 65-66 coupe. I im looking for something new and unique to do. Something in between stock and a ring bro hood would be nice. The ring bro hoods arent realistic in my opinion. Cool in their own right but not what im looking for. Any idea or pics would be greatly appreciated.

I always thought the LS7 hood scoops on the old vettes were beautiful....not sure what it would look like on a mustang, but you asked for ideas, lol.

What I want to see for 65-66 is the 67-68 turn singal type hood. I wish someone made that, I think it would be sweet!

I know it's not a scoop, but I've always liked hood tachs. And come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen one on a Ford. It would be pretty unique.

Think the only problem with hood tachs if you park it at a store or somewhere not covered such as a garage, you got some idiot who would damage it. Well, at least in Cali we have tons of those people around. Looks nice though IMO.
