Here is the custom system I put in my 93 Cobra. Here is what it consist of: Kicker 600.1 mono block sub amp, Kicker 10 inch L7 sub, 350.4 4ch amp, not shown is a pair of Infinity Kappa components up front, Kicker 5x7s in the rear and an Alpine deck. This is a first for me on loading pictures so hopefully they turn out.
Here is what I started with.
Ended up changing a few things but it turned up pretty much how I designed it on Pro-E. The red was going to be a capacitor but I decided against it. The blue being the amps.
Here is start of the build process.
Here is the build prior to some Bondo to help smooth where the boards meet and any other imperfections.
Bottom shot.
Before a good cleaning and some sound silencer.
I didn’t have my camera when I went to the shop to cover everything so here is the final product.
It isn’t 100% perfect but not bad considering this was the first time building something like this and covering it. Covering everything (especially the box) was a bit of a challenge hence a few seems you are able to see. I designed it so that it wouldn’t affect any of the factory interior pieces. If I want I can unhook and totally remove it with no damage to the rear hatch plastics.
