cyl head ?

so im about to buy a set of new heads. now i got a good deal on these, but a few guys told me to go though total engine airflow instead. what am i missing? whats the difference between the TEA heads and any other company?

The aftermarket heads they sell, AS THEY COME FROM THE MANUFACTURERS, are the same as you can get anywhere else...

They also do port work...which may be what everyone is referring to...

As in, if you are getting work done on the heads, buy the heads from them and then have them do it??? I don't know, just guessing...maybe they offer some sort of "combo deal"?

I have no idea who is the "best" at porting heads. Personally, I would use someone local, but that is just me...

TEA is expensive to have port work done and their heads are not the cheapest. They were $75 more for the heads I'm looking at VS at summit Racing. Port work will depend on what else you have done for if it makes a difference or not. I was going to have my next set of heads ported but after doing some research I decided not to
