you want to pull the #1 spark plug out, disconnect battery, rotate the crank by
hand, the marks are on the dampner tdc 0.. while your turning by hand put your thumb over the plug hole when it starts to pushair out forcefully your getting close.
stop for a second, the marks on the dampner should be coming around, slowly
bring it towards zero 0..when it lines up with the tab bolted next to the crank stop..
you are now at tdc on a compression stroke.. DONE..
